Varietal: 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon

Origin: Agrelo, Tupungato, La Consulta, Mendoza, Argentina.


Vineyards: The yield of the vineyards is 100 Q/ha., with about 30 year-old high trellis vines watered by furrows with thawing water in well drained medium dpth soils. Located in a wide night-day temperature difference area, the vineyards are at 900-950 m above sea level with excellent light, typical of the region.


Production process: Grapes are harvested from selected vineyards owing to their high oenological quality, low production and good sanity. Harvesting time is determined by a series of tests and soft fruit tasting. Harvest is manual,  grapes are de-stemmed, refrigerated and then sent to fermentation vats, where alcoholic fermentation takes place for about 10 days. When it finishes, maceration starts and goes on for about 10-15- days, the final product being determined through tasting. Once racked, it is in contact with American oak to get a wine characterized by excellent balance between grape attributes and oak.


Alcohol: 13.7% v/v


Organoleptic description: Deep purple red, characteristic of the variety.

Clean perfumed aroma that reminds of black fruit and species.

Hints of tobacco and coffee show the oak, for fruit complexity.  With firm tannins and the typical variety structure, it stands out as a young expressive varietal with male character of the cabernet sauvignon.

Ideal for gamey meat, grilled lamb, spicy stew, stuffed peppers, rice with mushrooms, ripened greasy cheese.


Color: Deep red with purple hues.

Aroma: Harmonious, great between black fruit and species, complex.

Taste: Structured, elegant, with hints of tobacco and coffee coming from the oak. 


Service Temperature: 16ºC to 18ºC.
