The story tells that, at the beginning of the last century, the young immigrant Dante Robino, arrived in Buenos Aires, from his native Piedmont, opening a canteen called ROBINO, where he delighted his clientele with wines moved in barrels and bottled in the same property.

It was the year 1920, when his pioneering spirit took him to Mendoza, where he fell in love not only with the landscape of the vine and snowy mountains, but also with Teresa, who helped him appreciate the land and Luján de Cuyo, one of the most prestigious and valued areas today. In this place he would found the winery to which he put his name.

Years later, almost magically, the path of Dante Robino was crossed with that of Alejandro Squassini, also of Piedmontese origin, who gladly received the secrets behind the elaboration of each bottle and with his experience and visionary spirit he enlarged this family business with a new member: the vineyard.

In 1982 the Squassini Family took over the winery, developing a line of premium wines, consolidating an excellent position in the local market and taking their brands to more than 40 destinations in the World.
